Scott from N. Virgiia

Hi all - been riding for a couple of years on a suzuki bandit - sold it a month ago and have decided to buy a versys. I was actually about to bid on one by a member 10 minutes ago, but was beaten to the punch.

Oh well. If any of you out there want to sell - i am looking between now and March. The bike seems fantastic and I can't wait to hit the road (not literally - been there, done that).

Recommendations on touring add-ons would be appeciated. While I will use it to commute, I certainly do my share of ld travel.

I did like it - but spent so much time working on it I called it Frankenzuki. It was an 01 ,GSFs600, weeped oil and the carbs gave me fits. It ran like a banshee when working properly over 7krpms - it had an old gxxr engine in it and you had to work it hard to get performance. I wanted to go to an engine with more low end torque and since I like to long distance tour...I needed more reliability.
