New versys 2009

I just picked up a green 09 looking to set it up for adventure to alaska
Needing several pieces aftermarket parts to finish it.
Any help locating skid plate bark busters stock exhaust tires is appreciated.

Here're two pics of MY '09 in Chicken, AK last year. Note the Tourance tires, SW-Motech crash-bars and skid-plate, Zeta handguards. (and SOME mud...)

Pnw to ak

Welcome! You have a great are to ride in, and get to know your bike. Take a nice ride out to the Okanogan region, or thru the Cascade hi-way.
PM me, I can help you get the best $'s with your accessories.

Welcome from Alaska! Come on up when you can, you will love it
As far as accessories; SW Motech has some good stuff, ebay can be a good source, as well as Amazon for many aftermarket items. Tires are a subject that everyone has an opinion on what is best. I've done 2500 miles on my current set-up and have loved every mile (on amd off pavement). TKC 80 120 front and Heidenau K60 150 rear. Take a look at some of our bikes (those of us who have gone the dual sport route) and you can see what's been working for our needs. Really, the sky (and your budget) is the limit
