Talking We are the REAL men in Black.

What to say.
I'm Carl (CB),

I've been lurking here for several weeks as The day got nearer to buying my 2009 Versys. (thanks to all for your knowledge and kindness. this is one terrific forum and was extremely helpful as I have been reseaching for a year now on what bike to buy.

I'm a IATSE stagehand by trade and passion. Based in the Detroit metro area, ( local 38) I've been part of the Michigan film and theatrical community for 27 years now and still lovin' every minute of it.

I've gone and done it...bought the bike of my dreams ( and you all know what bike that is) and today myself and my fraternal brother Henry R. went riding for my very first time ever.
TOOO BLOODY AWESOME.

Yep, I've ridden with two of them-but haven't seen the post recently.

Congratulations! And great choice on the color too! Get ready to have lots of people ask you about your V as they seem to just pull people in.

Take one for a demo ride when you get here...a LONG demo ride
Nice to be here, very inspirational. I've had my 07 since new, was a member of the UK Vers forum...yet it was only after joining this forum today that I removed those lower fairing panels and am now sourcing a tail tidy and hugger

No-way!!!!! The legendary Sydney Opera House!!!!!

Well as a matter of fact...My home away from home is the "Detroit Opera House".

I'm not on staff but when there's a show ...I'm there.

I'm the lead focus rat...seems nobody is fond of going up in the Bosuns chair but since I also work as a rigger, the precarious nature of being 40 feet off the deck on a traveler track is just fun to me. Good place to take a nap too when the LD is changing his mind...again and again and again. LMAO

Gotta love Opera. ( and if any of you ever get the chance to go see an Opera, jump at at. Opera's a whole lot more than waiting for fat ladies with horns , to sing. wink wink...).
