almost got a 2013 versys

Hi all I'm Craig from bonny Scotland , im almost got a 2013 650 versus shop just trying to get a lowering kit for it as it only got a 29" inside leg and found it hard to touch ground on bike , but if it can be got then think bike will be mine , can any one give me some info what is bike like for mpg as I will be using it every day for commuting 62 miles return for WOR work ? What is the bike like on road in the wind as I'm all coast roads ? And is there any thing I should look at before I hand over my cash ? Iwill be trading in my triumphy tt600 for this as at 48 I don't want to be leaning over bike any more , I have only passed my bike test 3 years now so new to big bikes so any help or info would be great thanks very much

Around 50 miles/U.S. gallon which would be around 62.5 mile per imperial gallon. Not a clue what that would be metric.

Because you sit more upright, I think you will feel the side wind a little more - this just adds to the Versys Riding Experience

I'm just leanring to road ride (5 months now) and the Versys 650L is my 1st Road bike.

50 miles/gallon(US) = 60.0474963 miles/gallon(UK)
50 miles/gallon(US) = 4.7042917 liters/100 km
