Versys adventure

would like to see what mods are suggested for turing the Versys into a light Dualsport/ Adventure bike

It all depends on how much dual sporting you plan on doing. You can go from mild to wild and anywhere inbetween
IMHO these mods are priority:
Tires
Engine guards
Full frame handguards
Bar risers (IF needed) to allow you to stand (when needed) while riding
Skid plate
Better foot pegs
Braided brake lines

Take a look at my bike and you can see some of the things I'VE done to suit MY riding needs in AK and Canada

BTW the wording on your Poll is a bit off? "What the top 4 first mods?"

This was my first post and I'm unsure how to edit the above wording. I was trying to get an idea of what mods other Versys riders are doing and see what works best.

Jeff's pretty much got it. Here's pics of mine wearing Metzler Tourance rubber, plus some "other" farkles.... (One in Chicken, AK. Other in AZ.)
