Newbie second obligatory post

have had my '09 now for 10 days. Spent several hours doing the new owner toothbrush detail thing. Nice and pretty now. Adjusted the windshield, oiled the chain, fabricated a nice plastic shield to protect rectifier, several coats of wax, ordered mirror extenders and front fender extender. Just waitin' for Oregon spring weather to mellow out a bit so I can ride! Sure is different than all the big in-line fours I've always had. I think I'm gonna like it! Goes plenty fast and I'm only rapping it out to about 4500 rpms............Give me your tips on proper use of this motor..........I don't want to break it.
