Smile Newbee

Hello out there, I am a newbee to this site and to my new Versys, my last bike was a cruiser style loved it but prefer the riding position of the Versys. The only modification so far to the Versys were the Givi V35 Saddlebags is there any other must haves or advice anyone would like to share.

Congrats, I came from cruiser too and there will be no going back. The best mod I did was the Speedy lowering foot peg blocks. Unless you are on the short side the 2 inches lower and one back make a big comfort difference.

Gidgitt,

There be many mods you could do.
There is a wealth of information here in the forum.
IMHO, most important is a good riding suit for yourself.
Safety is everything for us 2 wheeler.

Welcome aboard!
Great to have another Ontario rider on the forum.
What general area of our Great province do you hail from??
Maybe you could join the next Versys Ontario Motorcycling Team (V.O.M.I.T.) Ride.
Please see "Attn SW Ontario"...thread under the "Group Rides" section.

Congratulations on your new machine! I know you will enjoy it.
There are many great modifications for the Versys, but as Stlee29 suggested
top shelf gear is imperative! Look at whatever you can afford and then start digging
deeper!
I hate to sound like a broken record but this stuff may very well save your life in an accident.
Ride Safe,
Steve

Thank you for the welcome, I am in the Great Cold North, Sudbury. If it gets to cold up here we may trailer a few times to the southern part of Ontario to extend our riding season, I will watch for the V.O.M.I.T. Rides.
