Hello from Santa Cruz

Just Joined to make good use of all the information provided here and share what I learn on my own on the way. I have a 2013 versys 650 in the stardust white color. Before this bike I have had a 2000 Ninja ZX6-R, a 2007 Husqvarna 610 SM, and a 2007 CBR600RR. I have loved all my bikes but the crotch rockets are too fast and uncomfortable for everyday use, and the SM was the most fun on 2 wheels I've had to date...except for doing the valves every 3 months...and the cam chain every 6000 miles. So for me right now, the V is the best of both worldsas it is fun to ride no matter what I'm doing. The name really fits the bike well; Versys= VERsitile SYStem.

quick questions

Thank you for welcoming me. I have a couple questions; why are upgrades called farkles? and is there a way to see if there are other versys owners near me?

Europe=Frackels

America=Upgrades

We use it to help people from all over understand what we are talking about. We are very polite that way!

Capn Kirk has a location map!

Welcome. SM's are fun but the maintenance and small gas tank ruined a lot of the fun for me. The Versys is
a great step forward and as much fun in my opinion.
