Great Forum!!!

Hey guys, just wanted to say hello to the forum! I have spent about a year on here as a guest looking for advise and ideas. I finally pulled the trigger on a 2011 Versys back in November and I cant be more happy with it. I have the following mods so far:
Corbin Seat
Givi Windscreen
Vista Cruise Control
10W AUX LED Lights
Panniers (Cant remember the brand)
I am in the market for new tires as my front and rear are about at the minimum. If anyone has any suggestion please inform a friend.

Keep the rubber down,

Nick

Welcome aboard from a fellow 2011 owner
As far as tires, what are you traveling on most of the time? Mostly asphalt, gravel, dirt? 50/50 70/30 80/20...

I used up several sets of Continental ContiMotions - inexpensive, and worked well.

You may be able to get the Michelin Pilot 4's on "special" at the moment if you're lucky as part of their latest tyre/tire introduction offer.

But if you aren't into "fast" blacktop riding they would be a waste of money, so a cheaper road tyre will work well that has a harder & longer lasting compound.

But you may also do a mixture of blacktop & gravel, which opens up a whole new ball-park...................

I just pulled the trigger on some MPR4s. I do mainly black top riding but I live in an area with some gravel so I think these will work just great. Living within a few hours of the Twisted Sisters in Texas hill country means I can get out and get my lean on whenever I want. I appreciate the warm welcome! As always, keep the rubber down.
