How do you guys feel about the prospect of riding a V from Denver to Buenos Aires 2 up?

We're taking the bike through Darien Gap. I know a guy who made a map for me.

You should always announce, this is a test, only a test.......
I think you could do the trip on a V. I took mine to Mexico and back (one-up), Copper Canyon was hard on the bike but I did make the mistake of straying off the beaten path with it. She ain't much of dirt bike in my opinion.

Will probably end up off the beaten path much, I was more concerned with the Andes than Mexico.

I don't think the V is bad on trails ect. But with street tires some mud and rocks it gets a little slippery for sure.

Yep, I wuz thinkin if I ever crossed the Andes, I would need an oxygen bottle more than a good dual sport.

Very doable. There are a few risks from getting your bike stolen to get killed. But if you are not victim of crime it has to be an awesome trip.

Oh yes, they both post & sometimes I think that James doesn't know that Colleen has already reported on something & vice versa.

He doesn't miss out anything though, & he even prices their daily budget down to the last dollar, but I think the thing I found most amazing is the cost & time involved in the Central America border crossings!
