Ready to pull the trigger

Hello all, I am a current Ulysses rider and I am ready to make the switch to the Versys.

I have heard the Versys described as a "Uly lite", and wondered if any former Buell Owners could give any insight on a comparison.

I am an old fart, and my knees are getting bad. I hope I will be able to maneuver the Versys around better than the Uly.

It will be nice to not listen to a screaming fan every time I shut the bike off.

I have ridden a friend of mine's Buell and I think the Versys is an easier ride. Go to a dealer and test ride one and I think you'll be convinced. Good Luck.

I rode one, and brought it home.
I got it with the trax side cases, SW motech engine guards, MRA Vario screen installed.
It also has Oxford heated grips, but I think they are going, and I will be putting on This grip heater kit:

And a set of BMW sport grips.

I guess I have grown to really like the BMW grips. They have a really great feel, and I have used them for many years.
