New 2012 Versys Owner in Chicago

Good morning,

Just placed a deposit on a completely new black 2012 Versys.

I worked with James over at BBK motorsports out in Elgin, IL and the whole process was great. I should be picking it up by Saturday the latest.

This is my first completely new bike. I've ridden on old bikes (74 CB550, 77 BMW R100/7, and a '76 CB750F) and I just grew tired of sitting more and wrenching on them than riding.

I was considering the modern classics (Bonnie, V7 guzzi) but decided on the Versys since I am a tall rider and have always liked its styling. Still gonna keep the CB750 and keep rebuilding that engine.

Looking forward to conversing with you all in the future.

Sincerely,

Conrad

Welcome. I'm sure you will notice some changes with the newer technology and you won't be having to do any wrenching for a while at least on the Versys.
Enjoy

Thanks, everyone.

Looking forward to riding.

First thing I think I want to purchase are the TRAX cases. Anyone have them and if so, would you recommend the 37L or 45L size?

Best,

Conrad
