Checking in from Texas

JUst a brief intro~~I am located in Henderson County, TX, 66 yr. old, riding since 1956.
I am looking at buying a leftover '08 red Versys and have been browsing for relevant info. Will use the bike as a light adventure tourer. Expect to fit with bags, trunk, engine guards and maybe a lowering kit.

Hey, welcome, I just got my versys and the bags are on the way. Only problem now is the weather up here in Nova Scotia, it has been raining for the last 3 days and it isn't supposed to stop till Monday. And you will definitely find all the info and more here. Sometimes there are way too many choices.

Moon Dust Gray Versys, with lots of farkles.

Vlast

P.S. I bought my Versys to support my photography hobby.

I just bought the new leftover '08 red Versys for $5500 OTD (equates to only $4600 for the bike). I also added rack and trunk @ dealer cost ($203). Pick it up Monday AM but will not get the trunk until later in the week. Sound like a good deal???????

Welcome. Lots of us mature riders here like you. I am 61 and bought a leftover 08 and love it. Best all round bike i have owned and that is many. I have speedys lower kit and flatfoot and is a quality piece. Nice guy also. Have 21 bags and plenty for me for my short trips. Think you will like the bike. Lots of nice people here and always willing to help you with info.
