Hello from exotic Connecticut

I'm in southeastern CT, wondering if anybody in this neck has a Versys. I'm really leaning towards this bike (or Strom 650), but the Kawasaki is winning me over.

Well Mr. Exotic Connecticut Im from Shelton Ct. OK I WAS from there anyway I now live in exotic Killeen Texas. I'm 48 this is my first bike since the 70's I am esentially starting from scratch on this and have found this to be an excellent bike for some one new to riding. I use my bike daily to commute to work and home it has been an awesome way to start the day. The only reason I would see going to the strom is if you plan to get off into the dirt on a regular basis. If you are new to all this research and purchase good safety gear, take an MSF course all will be money well spent. At least that is what I thought when the gas grill came out of the back of the pick up truck in front of me 2 days ago. ( it was exciting but I was not hit by anything) For me the Versys was money well spent after much research. South east Ct hmmm perhaps you will send us all pics of you parked by the dock at Mystic Seaport on a Versys. Good Luck!

Killeen Texas? You must be in the Army... I'm a very experienced rider, have had the whole gamut of bikes (except Harley...) but lately been wanting to size down and go minimalist. I checked the Versys out at the dealer, and I really like the bike; very cool styling and super comfy. I think I'm going to buy it.

** In see you are a firefighter- cool!
