Thumbs down Possible Newby

hi guys
Not really a newby as I havent actually bought the bike yet
but was wondering what extras to have fitted by the dealer if I go ahead
I was thinking of ,Engine Guards, Satnav Bracket, Scottoiler and Rad Guard(that radiator defiantly looks prone to stones being thrown up)

I suggest riding it for a bit and determine what YOU need, not what we like.

Once you figure that out, come here and get ideas on how we installed things that you want.

Capn's thought is good; determine what you need/want. I would get a radiator guard, though. Lots of good options, I have a Cox guard. Easy install. If you do a search on here, you'll find lots of others that folks like.

I suggest get the following:

engine crash bars (SW motech)
barkbusters hand guards
a taller windscreen (I have the givi d410st)

Even if you are mechanically challenged like me, just read the enclosed instructions and you'll get it right. They're kinda pricey, but I can tell you first hand they've earned their keep on my V, when I dropped the bike, thankfully only at very low speed as I was trying to bring it down to my garage. Scratches on the end of the handguards, some on the crash bars, but NOTHING ON THE BIKE!

Good luck and ride safely!
