Smile New Versys baby

I bought a slightly used 2008 Versys nine days ago and I love it. For months I had my mind set on a BMW F650 GS (new). A very bright moto buddy bought a Versys in late 2008 and was raving about it. I started researching
this bike and found that it was in many respects, superior to the bike I had
my heart set on. . . . . and . . . . much cheaper. So now I'm a "Versys Baby"
trying to figure out this whole new world. I do have one question and I'm hoping one of you has an answer. My bike came with Givi side bags and top box. One of the side bags is pretty much destroyed. I want to replace it but the Givi website claims they only sell these in pairs. I hate to buy a set
when I only need one . . . . any suggestions out there???

Ebay and a little luck, maybe some plastic spray paint- you got it!

chicken Little . . . thanks for your thoughts.

I will be watching Craigslist and Ebay.

I live in the "northwet" so any serious distance riding is still
a few months away. That is when I will want to have two functioning
side bags.

Check out www.twistedthrottle.com for various items that fit the Versys, including Givi bags. Be very careful -- the temptation to add farkles is addictive and expensive!

a tube of devcon plastic welder with fiberglass cloth might do it for you, and then the aforementioned spray paint...
