Looking for some assistance with the lowering kit from MotoWerk. What has everyone been doing about the side stand? Some tell me to use the flat foot, others say to use the Ninja 650R Stand and my dealer says to cut it off and re-weld it back on.

What do you all think

I have the stock kickstand and the lowering kit and no problems so far... Heard good things about the flat foot though!

I cut the stand and used speedy's flatfoot. Highly recommend!

It is not close to the chain as this photo would lead you to believe.

because ultimately a flatfoot is something you'll probably find yourself wanting for your V. Takes the guesswork out of 'imperfect' parking surfaces!

Thanks everyone for your input. Capn Kirk, I appreciate the pictures, it give me a better idea of the size of it, and 6-1/2 dozen or the other the options all cost about the same, so might as well have the bigger resting platform with the bigfoot. By the way Capn Kirk, NICE BIKE! Do you have the Addmore Lighting LED kit installed in your Givi Trunk?

Your welcome on the photos, thanks for the compliment!! The larger footprint helps prevent sinking in softer surfaces.

I installed my own LED's. Click here to see how I did it.
