2008 Verseys 650 I'm on my toes when I stop

When I stop only my toes touch the ground.
Is there anyway to lower the bike 4 inches so my feet touch flat?
I don't think just a custom seat alone would lower my body 4 inches. I could be wrong.
Can the front and rear be lowered a 2 inches and then a custom seat 2 inches?

Need help it feels dangerous when I come to a stop. Feel like I'm always in danger of dumping the bike.

Do a search for Speedy's lowering kit.

http://www.shop.motowerk.com/Standar...-LK-STD-R2.htm

It'll lower your bike 1.85" in the rear (and then you lower the front to match.). You might be able to get a seat with a little less height, but I doubt you can lower it 4"

You'll be amazed at how much more stable you are with the Speedy kit even at 1.85"

dog, +1 on the lowering kit. Though less than 2 inches it may be all you need. I'm 5'8" with a 31" inseam and the bike felt very tall at first, but in a little bit of time I got more stable and found I could position myself to reach the ground better after awhile. I still have mine at stock height and its fine for me.

I'm 5' 10" and with speeds lowering kit I flat foot on both sides pretty easily. Very recommended! I though about returning it to stock but some people have been saying it makes handling better too (I don't know because I bought it lowered) so I think ill keep it

I have the opposite problem! I just bought a used Versys with a lowered gel seat. I am 6'4", and it makes the bike shorter than I want. Perhaps we can do a seat trade? I am in Philly; how about you?

Would look to do a trade with a seat.
