Newbie, 2013 V in white!

Hello all new here and have found lots of good info already! Bought a 2013 Versys in white about a month ago. Switched over from an R6 and never looking back. Additions include: Yoshimura slip on carbon exhaust-what a difference! Pyramid gloss black hugger, and a Yoshimura fender eliminator kit (pricey but really cleaned up the tail). More to come I'm sure. Next will prolly be luggage and a bigger windscreen. Stoked to be here!

And since I gotta wait 48 hours...lol I really like the SW Motech top rack-do you know which side case racks will fit with no mods? I know the SW ones won't without mods and it looks like the Givi racks only work with Givi top racks. Like the v35 cases a bit but was looking into the Happy Trails racks/aluminum bags. Trunk will be first and I will go with the Sw rack and Givi case for that, just want to have side bags too eventually.

I kinda just want to know if the Happy Trails SU side racks will work with the SW Motech top rack? Their site says they cannot verify that. Ugh

To address your question on the luggage-
The SWM stuff works together, you just need to provide a couple of longer bolts. They don't want the responsibility of telling you it works, but it does.
If you like the Alu-Rack, go for it. You can make the V-35's work with that in place if that's what you want to do.
Happy Trails stuff? Not so sure.

Thanks for the response, do you recall a thread that lists which bolts are needed and where for the side racks of the top of your head? I know there is a million threads about it. What parts or why do the racks not bolt right up? I'm just looking at the top rack instructions here:

http://static.twisted-throttle.net/m...14_15000_b.pdf

And the happy trails side racks here: (there doesn't seem like there would be an issue since it looks like the parts are not the same
