It's nice to see guys riding that far north. What's the season like? Or is it bundle up and man up?

Welcome aboard... I lived in Idaho back in the day when I was first assigned to F-111s at Mountain Home AFB. Loved my time there... Practically lived in the Anderson Ranch/Fall Creek area. I had a Bultaco Alpina back then.

Winter temps have been making our days chilly here in the south of the state, but no moisture to make riding impossible. Last winter was uncharacteristically dry for the lower half. Our ski mountains shut down a month early. I rode into easter Oregon by way of Hells Canyon a couple weeks ago, and the roads were almost summer clean of sand and gravel. Heated gear allowed me to ride comfortably over the 5-6000 feet passes. Not a lot of Versys in this area, maybe a half dozen.
