Sounds like you need to look for a dealer with a better mechanic.

thanks for the welcome, as for the mechanic I trust them, been dealing with them for years, when I asked, they said they dont touch those bolts, mostly install front tire, check for damage, install battery and oil, thats about it out of the crate, butwas curious if others had anything to check as the bike is brand new just last years stock. I figure every vehicle has a few quirks, so far not too concerned, the rain has let me go over the bike, but tough to hit all the key area's.

Welcome fellow Canuck!

I have a pretty regular routine of doing a 360 degree check on the bike ensuring all fastners are tight. After 2 years and 25,000kms, I've only ever found one bolt (on the front axle) to be loose. And that was right after having the tires changed, so I think that was an oversight by the mechanic.

Welcome to the forum. Pretty interesting isn't it that if that is "all" they do for the dealer prep how can they charge anywhere from $600 to $800 for it?
Enjoy the V

Check ALL your caliper bolts! Torque required is 25 lb/ft front; and 18 lb/ft rear, and quite a few guys have had them fall out (add a bit of blue Loctite).

Oh - and welcome from Quail Ridge (across from the Kelowna (YLW) airport)!
