New Versys Owner

Hey All,

I've been riding an '07 EX250 for about 2 years now and have been trying to get more into touring/sport touring. Figured while I had the bug I'd get something a little different and ended up getting a good deal on a 2008 Versys. So far I've been real satisfied though still getting used to the height... might try to track down one of those gel seats.

Will be doing a good deal of riding this summer around the Northeast US and giving the bike a workout!

Welcome! I just bought one myself, will pick it up tomorrow!
Sargent makes a low version of their seat which is supposed to lower you by an inch. I may go that route.

There is also a lowering kit available that'll bring it down 2 inches. By Motowerk, I think.

Welcome both of you! My V came with a motowerks lowering kit and a factory low gel seat, very happy with both although admittedly I didn't need them
