Hello: Part one

I joined this forum, a few months ago, because I wanted to learn about Versys. I have not ridden very much for a long time. I have owned one motorcycle, a 1974 HD FX1200 that I bought new for $3400, imagine that.
I was very interested in the Vstrom, and since I have spent the last 5 winters in Thailand, were they are unavailable, I looked reluctantly at the Versys. Late last fall I had an opportunity to drive a Wee and a V back to back, and was surprised to learn I much preferred the Versys.
My plan was and still is to buy a used Versys in Thailand, they are the best bang for buck big bike there.

Thanks for reading
Wayne

If you go to thai and are looking for a V the price is between 220000 to 260000 baht for used 2011 depending on mileage and accessories (7500 - 8900 CDN)
And used ones sell quickly, often going within a week of being listed.
look here

http://www.bahtsold.com/keyword?s=versys&t=2
rental is about 50 to 60 CDN per day
