Talking Finally got the x300

Joined the forum awhile ago, but didnít have the bike yet. Needed to be a member to see some of the posts that. Helped me decide on the x300. 30 miles on it today. Couldnít stop myself from exceeding 4000 rpm. 6th [email protected] 4000 rpm = 35mph. Canít do it.

Well done. They are fun bikes to ride. Nimble but still stable.

Throw the running in recommendations out the window. They are a copy and paste repeat of the 650 and 1000 instructions, and are not possible with a bike that needs to rev a little. You will end up lugging the bike which is much worse for it.

I always use part throttle and vary the throttle and engine speed. Some will say that you should ride it like you stole it, and although I do not support that theory it is still better than lugging the motor. Just don't rev it out yet and do not use full throttle.

BTW, at the final factory checkpoint your motor was tested to the red line.

Thanks for the welcome! Kind of doing Ryan F9ís break in, Brockie. Seems
to work well for him, and everyone else that does it that way. 3k feels like youíre lugging the thing. It just sounds wrong in the lower RPMs. Having a blast riding it, regardless.
