New here!

Hello all! I just picked up a brand new 2019 Versys LT and super excited to join the Versys community. I came over from a 2008 Suzuki GSX650F, way different ride and feel. Lol still getting used to it. This will be my second bike.

It is! I’m sorry. I couldn’t swallow the cost of the 1000. Double to price was a bit much. I’m not sure what generation it is though, seems to be a reoccurring question on this forum.

I've just bought a KLE300 in the UK, it's lightly used and significantly cheaper than new. Also it is the Adventure version that includes several useful OEM extras.

I test rode a new demo last year and planned to swap to the 15T front sprocket, but the original owner had already done that.

I was pleased to find that out, but now having ridden it a while I'm now not so sure as I'm getting vibes through the bike that weren't apparent on my original test ride.

Anyone else found this having changed the front sprocket?

You'll be fine on the V650 - I've ridden 155,000 miles among my THREE V650s, an '08, '09 and a '15.

Yours is a Gen 3 ('15 on...). Gen 1 is '07 to '09; Gen 2 is '10 to '14; and Gen 3 after '15.

So far my 2019 V 650 LT has been my favorite bike for long trips. Have only been able to take one Trip & have another one planned for mid April. I do ride it to work everyday since purchasing it in May of 2019. You might want to add a different windscreen, handlebar risers & highway pegs all for maximum comfort. It is a Great Bike especially for the price!! ENJOY your Kawasaki!!
