Bringing a '16 650 back to life.

To my fellow humans,

Having a growing interest in the two wheeled world I kept a keen eye out and found a gem with only .074 earth diameters on the clock, and it only cost a song.

In its previous life there was some unsanctioned contact on the right side with asphalt. Thankfully the crash bars did their job, some things will need to be replaced.
I will be replacing the following: step stay, cracked through and not stable. The handle holder has a crack in the lower "tower brace." The right controls lost the button
for the starter, I have to use a piece of metal to start it. Pannier damper is missing so I will be getting a replacement for that.

There are other minor scuffs but they are of no consequence to me at this time. Everything else seems to work fine.
I have not decided if I will keep it or sell it after making it all legal again, time will tell!

I got the bike from auction precrashed, cause unknown. This also means that I have no maintenance history. Any idea if a Kawasaki dealer can confirm service records?

W/ that few miles, I wouldn't expect ANYTHING in its maintenance records.

I guess the manual only shows a brake and fuel inspection @ 600 miles.

Garage
Have fun getting to know the machine.

Some items get serviced based on time so don't ignore them.
