Thumbs up New to the Versys club

I picked up a left over 18 Versys 650 LT just earlier this week.
At only 5' 8" it's a little tall for me to flat foot, so i've already ordered a Sargent Low seat for it, should be here next week (pretty fast).
The Moto Werk lowering link is already on order too, hopefully i'll be able to do the install in the coming weeks.
No pics on my computer yet, but i got the Black one with red trim. Of course i don't have any riding gear that matches it color wise...
Looking at maybe getting new mesh jacket and a new helmet...looking at maybe the HJC RPHA 90 Tanisk.
I have the next couple days off, looking forward to putting some more break-in miles on it....Less than 100 currently...sigh!
Y'all keep the rubber side down, and the shiny side up...

FWIW...my Sargent Low seat came in for the Versys 650.
Man, that thing is hard, but it's new, and it's a LOW seat, so less padding.
To be honest, i can't say i notice being any closer to the ground with it either.
Putting the Moto Werk lowering link on in a couple days, that should help a bunch,
I'm adding the Foot peg lowering blocks as well, and a set of SW-Motech dual position footpegs,
so.....with any luck i'll be flat footing soon.
--Stay tuned... ; )

When you install the Motowerk Lowering Kit , you will need to cut your side stand by an inch. Be prepared with that and all instruction for installation is in the web page.

Lowering kit installed, slid the front forks up , and cut the kickstand. All good now, able to easily flat foot the bike and it still handles well for me.
Still working on fine tuning the suspension to my liking with the new geometry.
Overall....very pleased with results.
