Smile Picked up my new baby today!

Brought my old bike in for trade this morning, then went back this afternoon to pick up the spanking new Versys. I was lucky and the showers had tapered off this morning and the roads were fairly dry. One less thing to worry about when riding on new tires.

It felt great riding it home. The riding position will take a bit to get used to. I found myself weaving around corners a bit, what with all the extra leverage. The motor felt great, with lots of torque right off idle.

So far, so awesome. I'm totally amped about kitting it out!

I had a 2002 Triumph Sprint RS. It was a nice bike, but it had 70,000km on it. It gave me enough problems (notoriously bad charging system, slow starting) that it was sucking the enjoyment out of riding.

Before the Trumpet I had a ZX-6R, so I'm glad to go Kawi again.

Welcome and congrats on the new ride. That photo looks like it was at the rear of Burnaby Kawasaki.
I know they had good prices on a couple of yellow/black 2012's.
Enjoy

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the new ride.
