my new second hand Versys in sunny South Africa

Hey guys
I live in South Africa and started riding bikes at the age of 48 , that was a year ago . I started on a tvs 180 and have put 12000km on it in a year . Tomorrow I get my real bike . a 2009 green Versys with 11000km on the clock . the 11000km were ridden in the USA and the bike has being imported here . I hope I have a long and rewarding journey with my Versys . cant wait

Once you put something on a skid, even a bike, I suppose you can ship most anywhere. Just empty all the fluids and remove the battery.

Hmmm, SUNNY! I wonder what it's like to ride a Versys in the sun, I bought my V a little over a month ago and have NEVER ridden it on a dry road yet.
Welcome aboard and congrats on the bike.
