Hello Peeps

Is this a USA site? if so then greets from UK.
Just purchased a 2013 Versys 1000 today with 9 thou on the clock. Bit too high in the saddle for me though.

I used Moto Werk kit on my 650, and they make a kit for V1000 that drops it a fixed 1.5 inches. https://motowerk.com/collections/kaw...it-versys-1000

The Soupys is more expensive but is adjustable from stock to 3" drop.

I do have Soupys lowering link kit on my KLX 250 and am happy with it. It's made well and easy to adjust.

Thanks for tips mate. I have actually seen the plates kit on Ebay for around £75 but they only drop the bike 40mm, I need a bit more drop being a short arse hence I ordered the Soupys but very expensive to UK though.
$117 plus a further $61 for shipping.:

Have you "set your sag" yet?

Once that's done, your seat SHOULD 'settle a bit' when you sit down.

Mine is 'tip-toes' till I settle down, then I can 'flat-foot' it.
