Hello, my name is Trevor. I own a 2017 Versys 650 LT as of May 2018. Currently not riding due to living in northern NY where we can only ride about 6 months out of the year. I will be moving to Reno, NV next year if anyone has info about riding conditions there for winter?

Welcome fullthrottle650. Sounds like big geographical location change for you.

It's been swell, but the swelling has gone down.

Renoís weather wonít make you hibernate for 6 months. Itís high desert at 4500 feet, so itís cold this time of year and a skiff or two or snow is not unusual. Itís only 22 miles from gorgeous Lake Tahoe. This is also the rainy season so bike riding is limited during December and January. You should be able to get some good riding in as soon as February though. You donít go for months on end with seeing the sun!

Youíll be on the east side of the Sierra, so you will have some of the best riding anywhere both in Nevada and Northern California as it warms up!

And that's the best color for the '17 Versys 650 LT.
