Thumbs up Lurker No More

Hi all, had to join as I needed to see some of the images you were sharing. Great resource. Bought a '17 in April this year and am loving it. Came from BMW and really miss cruise control and an alternator large enough to run heated seats, vests and grips. I don't miss the admission price or weight!

I too came from a large adventure bike. KTM 1190.

Don't miss the price tag, weight, and especially having my legs roasted by the rear cylinder and exhaust pipe. Felt good in the winter but was a bitch in the summer.

Which V did you buy? 650 or 1000?

Welcome aboard!

2015 V-650 of course it's green...it's a Kazawalski.

I bought the 1000 as I do a lot of two-up touring. It came with the top box so we are set for luggage. We toured Nova Scotia this summer and it worked great. I had to adjust the chain while on tour which I haven't done since my dirt bike days, but I found a hardware store that had a similar size cotter pin and a piece of gas pipe to serve as a breaker bar, all good.
