Sold my ninja 650 for something a little bit more comfortable.
The Versys I got is a 2013 650 brownish color. It has 18 000 km on it but is in top shape and always well maintened.
I canít wait for the school to start so I can drop the kids to school and ride.

Thanks

Welcome, from two hours ride upstream along the Ottawa river, lol.

If you don't have a service manual yet just PM for a download of the PDF version.

Suggest getting a rear pit (spool) stand if you don't have one or a kickstand as you'll need one without a kickstand to clean the bike or do basic maintenance tasks.

Seems like a good deal although a head lift type front stand is more versatile as it allow for fork oil changes this stand does not.

I wanted to post a thread to ask if anybody has had white deposit in the coolant but cannot since I am new to the forum. So Got the bike this week. It is a 2013 and has 18000km. The owner before changed the coolant this summer. Now I see white deposit in the reservoir. Something anybody has seen on a bike with that kind and age.

Thank

Many suggest it is calcium from using tap water with ethylene glycol instead of distilled water or premix, meant for aluminum. Depending how bad it is you may need a engine flush additive that breaks down the calcium then refill with proper coolant mixture.

Some folks flush with vinegar and water before replacing coolant to get rid of the alkaline deposits....

I am hoping for deposit. I flushed the old coolant and put new one. I will drive 2-3 rides and flush again and put something else after. Hopefully i can tough it until winter than i will remove the pump and rad.
