Just got my first versys 650 lt!!

Just got my first versys I came off a 2008 fz6 that I had setup for touring but it was starting to get old and hand some miles on it. So I decided to get rid of it and get me a 2016 versys 650 used that had just over 500 miles on it. So far in the week I have had it I have done a givi trunk and givi engine gaurds and motowerks 1.5 bar risers and I have a madstad windscreen on order waiting for it to ship. But I would also like some input on other good upgrades to make it a better touring bike and a commuter. Second picture is my old bike.

I had a 2007 FZ6 as my first "real bike". Traded it for a 2010 Vstar 950, cruiser. - Put many miles on that bike.

Dreamt of an Adventure Bike. Needed road bias, long touring, hence the Versys 1000LT.

I'm sure I will put many miles on this one. Hope you do too!

Congrats!

Welcome and ongrats on your new ride! Best mod (hands down) that I've done to my V is the addition of the Thermo-Bob kit. If you plan to ride all year around, and the temps drop much below 70 degrees F, this is a mod you will want to look into. Best of luck!

Kawasaki SHOULD have included a page from the SERVICE MANUAL telling HOW.
