Welcome and congratulations on choosing a great all around machine. First bike? Take your time to get used to it and you'll enjoy it a lot more in the long run. Try to be smooth in your actions and don't do anything abruptly if you can avoid it, especially when in curves. There is a lot of underlying physics involved but the important bit is you're less likely to end up in the weeds and that's a good thing.
