New not new

Hi to you all,
My name is Pete and I live in Bristol England, I have owned a 2010 Versys 650 for 5 years now ( yellow and black ) and have done about 6,000 miles on it. I was diagnosed with cancer in January of this year, so was going to sell my bike. However, I am now in remission, so to celebrate this and seeing another birthday next week, I have just bought a 2018 Versys 650 tourer ( white ).
This new bike is 6 months old with 286 miles on the clock, and is so much smoother than my old bike. Also, I don't know why, but it's easier to move around.
So my big plan for 2019 is to tour around the coast of Britain and try to raise some funds for charity.

Congrats on your new Versys and, more importantly, great news to know your health is good again!!! Enjoy the motorcycle and ride the heck out of it!

Welcome Pete, citizen of Bristol . As others have said, great new regarding remission and congratulations on the new bike. May you live long, raise large sums for charity, and enjoy your Versys all the while.

Although it's been many years since I lived in England, I recall Bristol (Bristols actually) being one of my favorite Cockney rhyming slang words.
