From KLX to Versys!

I've been really enjoying my KLX250 for the last number of years, especially off-road. I commute on it, too. However I'm planning to do some touring, so am seriously looking at the Versys 300. Hope to learn a lot on this board.

Welcome to the forum.

I love my KLX 250 which excels for off road use and kept it for that purpose. For light touring I went with the Versys 650LT which for me is the smallest bike I wanted to go with after having much bigger bikes.

You will notice a nice power bump from the 250. The 300 is a very smooth bike and I haven’t heard much complaints about it. Welcome aboard!

I also just purchased a Versys-X. Watched and read a ton of positive reviews first.

My previous bikes have been solely street. I'm looking forward to some "light" off-roading.
