New Member, New Rider

Hello from NW Washington.
I'm a new rider and chose a Versys x300 as my first bike. It's been a great bike to learn on and will hopefully fit my needs for a long time. I've had a great time putting some miles on and already made some mods on the bike (with the help of my gear-head BF) that I'm really enjoying. Now looking at putting some new tires on to take up into the hills. Something with better traction to tackle the logging roads... any suggestions? THANKS!

Everyone has an opinion on tires. Look for a 50/50 like Mitas E-07 (my favourite) or Continental TKC 80. So far I have found my 300 to be so stable in gravel/dirt, compared to my V-Strom, that I still have the OEM tires fitted.
And to the forum.
