Versys Seat

How would I sell a seat. I have a custom seat made for me by Corbin. How do I get payment in a safe way?

Offer it to ME for, say, $20, and we can work out the details... ...!

Ironically, I am in the market for a new seat. Typically, if you want to sell something here on the forum, post it in the "For Sale" section. Including pictures is always a bonus as well as a good description. Include a fair price and indicate how you want to handle shipping charges. Usually FedEx or UPS are good for large items like seats.

As far as payment, PayPal works the best. You can go to their website and see how to set up an account. Once you receive payment, then you ship out the item. The burden of getting burned is always on the buyer, because if I am selling something, I am not going to ship it until I get payment.

I hope this helped explain the process.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

What I would do is

The seller has to find someone he knows and trust near where you live and that doesn't need that product (the middleman has to pay for something that he doesn't want/need, so he won't keep it for himself)

That person has to pay you in exchange of the good you are selling
He also has to validate that the product you are selling is exactaly what the real buyer wan't and in the condition that suits him
In the end the middleman of the original buyer sends the good to him anyway he want's and your are of the hook

That's what I would do ...
My 2 cents

Make sure you are well happy with your new seat first. I changed back after a few weeks.

Thank you. I will post it tomorrow. I sold the bike. I am wondering if the V 1000 will hit the US. In the meantime I have a Vstar 1300.
