Hello

Hi Everyone from snowy Wirral uk
Thinking of buying the 650 Grand tourer. Just wondering how it would manage with a pillion on touring rides.

cheers
in advance

Some people here have done some long touring on the 650. Probably depends a bit on the size of you and your pillion.

I've had a pillion (130# give-or-take) for up to 8 or 10 hours. She loved it.

I've never carried a pillion for more than a few miles but the LT makes an excellent touring bike for a solo. I did a 4500 mile ride last year and was quite comfortable.

2 up to Alaska and back. 350# of rider/passenger and enough camping gear and stuff for a couple weeks. No problems at all.
