Hello from Vegas

Hi,

I just bought a '12 Versys yesterday after a year of looking at them. I'm coming from a '11 Honda Shadow RS so right now all I can say is the Versys is way different and feels a ton better.

Thanks

I think that makes 3 of us here in Vegas. Almost enough to have our own rally

Vegas.....dayum, I can't even imagine being there! ( Coming from east coast Canada, lol)........anyhow, welcome to the club
PS-- I've always had a thing for the Shadow RS....almost bought one instead of the Versys. What did you think of the Honda while you had it?

I loved the old roadster look, standard riding position, red white and blue tri-color paint job (not for the Patriotic value, it just looked good), and the p-nut tank.

I didn't like how much of a dog it was. At 70 MPH is was out of legs IMHO and some of the highways I'm on the speed limit is 75 MPH.

With the Versys, I went down 100cc's but gained about 20HP, a 6th gear, better riding position, a rear disk brake, 3 gal bigger gas tank and I can put the hard luggage I want on it.

If I could have owned more than one bike at a time I would have kept the RS.
