New Guy from Tennessee

I just picked up my first motorcycle. A 2011 Versys. I'm very excited. I took the MSF last year, and have been borrowing a friends Buell and F650 when I could.

I won't be doing much since I've tapped out most of my budget on the purchase. Its got new Michelin tires and a fresh oil change.

I'm going to need to do chain service at the first chance. It's really dry and has a few spots of light surface rust. Only 8300 miles on the bike, so hopefully a good cleaning and lubing and it will be good to go.

Use to go up to Johnson City TN. a lot when i was a kid. My uncle was a retired professor from the university of tennessee and his wife was a head nurse at the VA Hospital at Johnson City. That was a long time ago...

Iím a decent wrench. Started building jeeps when I was 16. This is my first foray into the 2 wheeled world.
