Hi all.

In October I'll be buying a 2012 Versys. At 6' 3" I was a tad dismayed when I sat on a Ninja 650R. I asked the salesman if it came with trainer wheels. The height of the Versys is a smidge high but I think the gel seat will make it perfect. 32" inseam. I'm also looking around at Givi panniers and top cases. With gas prices the way they are, how many people are signing up here per week?

Don't waste your money on a gel seat. If it too tall here's the way to go..http://www.shop.motowerk.com/Standar...-LK-STD-R2.htm

With some boots you should be ok on the stock V. I flat foot it with a tall seat and 34" inseam. Lowering works too but try it stock first.

Just a little worried on tippy toe. My legs aren't as strong as they used to be... I'll try it stock for awhile. Man I can't wait for another 6 weeks to roll by.

Great choice. I think you'll love it. You don't see a whole lot of "man- this bike really sucks" on this forum for a reason!
