Traded my Can-Am Spyder for a Versys

Just traded in my Spyder for a new Versys and it's probably the best motorcycle deal I have made in over 50 yrs. I could not be happier. Bike fits me perfectly, no bars to buy, no risers needed. May lower the pegs but maybe not. Think I will go with the 44t sprocket after breakin.

Wow! That's quite a change, usually it's the other way around.

Good luck with your V. I think, for the money, it's the best bike out there right now.

Welcome. I am intrigued by the Spyder but not enough to buy one. Enjoy your V.

Spyder vs. Versys

I thought I was interested in a Spyder so I gave it a try, 7K miles in two months, and found out it just wasn't the ride for me. I'm back to two wheels for good. No more trikes.

So far the Versys is perfect. I put my Great Basin Giant Loop bag on it and was immediately told by my wife that it looked horrible(Orange bag, yellow bike). She insisted I get a yellow bag that matched the bike. Well.....if I gotta.

Hyflynbrd: "Land of no traffic lights." Well, ya, who needs traffic lights when there are no roads? As I recall the best route from Moab, Ut. to Vernal, Ut. was through western Colorado. I think there was a traffic light in Rangely, Co.
