Long distances cruise control
Good Monday morning. I bought a 2015 Versys 1000 on Friday. Over Saturday and Sunday I drove it home, over 1400 miles in total.
I have two questions, and would like to know how you have handled. I'm 6'0" tall and right around 200lbs.
1. Seating position. Being 6 feet, I like to sit a bit further back on the seat. Not touching the tank. The seat slants a bit forward causing the skin on your butt cheeks and hamstrings to be pulled a bit taut. After a while, this caused soreness. Some of it is because I haven't ridden in many years, but I'm sure the rest of it could be mitigated.
2. Cruise control. Do any of you use this? It would be nice to be able to take off my throttle hand, just a few seconds. Is there any type of cruise control that would let the throttle stick maybe even for just 5 seconds?
Would love some input
