Tires

I am looking for recommendations on tires for my Versys. Looking for a dirt/street hybrid tire.

I'd recommend using the search tool on the upper right corner of the page.

aboard!

I suggest SHINKO E705 dual-sport tires. They work GREAT for me, on my TWO Vs....

How To

Use advanced search , if your subject has come up numerous times on this forum, chances are pretty good that most of the important posts have been copied to the How To Forum
So under advanced search I put in Tire, scroll down, on the right hand side it says Search Forum(s) select How To and see what comes up, by searching all forums, 500 threads were found, big difference.

Below is all from the How To

I too used the search tool, and I'm not finding much. I just rode my V on a clay/sand road in the Ocala National Forest today with my Michelin Pilot 4s and only laid it down once, so I figure I'll be good on these forest roads with the right tires. I just looked at the Shinkos, and they look a bit more street than what I'm looking for. Any other suggestions? People here are generally really helpful, so I'm shocked that the first poster is being told to just look using the search bar. TIA.

You COULD go w/ "knobbies". I ran a TKC 80 on the front, a BIG BLOCK on the rear. Worked well, but UNLESS you're into mud, I'm NOT sure they're better than the E705s, or NECESSARY....
