Greetings from Poland

Hello folks!

About myself:

I turned 30 this summer, and thought it might just be a good time to try a bike for the first time in my life. Fortunetelly a lil younger wife on mine, thought the same thing at the same time And now after 5000km together, each of us on our own bikes, we really cannot imagine life without 2 wheels to travel on! Besides new hobby I got one other for maybe 6 years now and it's brazilian jiu-jitsu, for which I lately spent not as much time as I would like to, but that might be because u just can't do it all at the same time ... rite ? When not on the mat or riding I work as a machine-and-tools engineer in quite a big automotive company close to my home city of Cracow, Poland.

About the bikes:

Kawasaki Versys 650 '08 black with black rims - mine.
Honda VTR 250 '10 - my wifes.

Those 2 are going for 6500-7500 km trip from Poland to Turkey, starting 08.10 this year so wish us luck .

I will be around lurking for some info and equimpent on forums so see You later.

Cheers

It's NEVER too late in life to buy a motorcycle. It's just that some people never figure that out before they're laid to rest.

Your trip to Turkey sounds great. Hope you have a safe and memorable adventure. Visiting the Crusader castles is fascinating. And if you should get to Iskendrum there is (or was) a restaurant on the sea side promenade that serves spectacular shrimp.

I'm not a huge fan of shrims, but it was quite the same with motorcycles not that long ago :P So why not ~~ However in general the plan of this trip is "not to have the plan !", so I can't be sure if I'll cross this place untill I'll get there :P. Anyway thanks for the info and warm welcome .

I'll throw in some photos of the bikes later, when they will be all ready for the trip, packed up with the necessary equipment.
