Once you join the forum, you must post twice in Member Introductions( Within your first thread
)( you can have been answering questions within your thread and reached a post count of 10 within 10 minutes, you still need 48 hours from your second post to post elsewhere
) and wait 48 hours after your 2nd post before you can post into the other sections of the forums, you can continue to answer questions, post comments, all within that first thread, which really is YOUR
thread.Starting more than 1 thread in Members introductions creates chaos , please don't do that as the second plus thread starters will be merged by a mod, in that process likes may be lost.
This was done in order to combat spammers.

:Member Introductions Just joined? Tell us about yourself and your ride.
Just below that is:Kawasaki Versys Forum > Kawasaki Versys Member's Lounge > Member Introductions
Below this: POST NEW THREAD
IS WHAT YOU
WANT TO CLICK ON
, not someone else's introduction
There is a help in this forum under stickies, please use that especially in the search function instead of posting new threads after your 48 hours is up.
Trying to attach a file or photo may turn your post over to the spam filter
That post count will show 0, the only way to reverse that is by a Mod
, we have notification for that. Next thing is to do a simple post with what year make of bike and possibly what would have been a third post describing where you are from, expect the moderated post to be cleared and approved within 24 hours.
As to two posts, first post you can say where you are from in the world, very next post you can describe your ride, expect to be welcomed within a hour of posting, you can continue to post in that thread, until the 48 hours is up, then most restrictions will be lifted. There will be a change coming here, for now that is it!!
We ask to introduce yourself, personal names if you wish to use this, should be kept to the first name or nick name only, privacy is important, and part of the rules on joining is to keep your name private when selecting a user name.
Any suggestions or concerns you can ask here, we don't bite ,
One last thing,if you are having problems as a new member posting for the first time, you can PM one of the mods for help. If that doesn't work you can use the Contact Us at the bottom of the page, describe the forum you are on and as much detail as possible, if a weekend expect a reply Monday
if you click on "Forums", let it load, scroll to the bottom------ What's Going On

As to photo posting
, the Gallery
is newly changed , it is now set to be viewed by members only, once you log out, guests can't see the photos , to post photos you need the original 2 posts and 48 hours PLUS
I think, a total count of 5 posts, however since recent changes I am not 100% sure. Total count is 1000 photos in the Gallery per member and a maximum of 60 per album. Here is a link explaining how https://www.kawasakiversys.com/forum...otobucket.html
Gallery / Privacy/Hosting Images / Attachments
Private Album - this would still be mods and contacts.
Public Album - Guests will not able to view this. This would be a Members Only deal.Photos stored on this site under the Kawasaki Gallery
Attachments - these are the photos directly attached to the threads, such as jpeg photos, rather than linked in from an album on this site stored in the Kawasaki Gallery . Members can use this to post for all members and guests to be able to view their thread. So for trip reports that they want to share with friends that are not members, they would use the Attachments, rather than an album.
Other means of posting any other photo hosting site like Photo Buckets, could be used the same way as before. Guests would be able to view the full ride report.
