Talking Yet Another Australian Joins The Flock!

Hello potential new friends

I found these forums after researching a possible bike to buy, found them extremely informative with great ideas I can't wait to try myself down the track, the majority of posts i've seen have been fair to new members (which can be a stagnating issue on forums that I've seen) and few spammers so I've decided to join these forums and hope to learn much from you're expertise.

Also... picking up a 650 green versys today!!!! So quite excited

from whatever the opposite of "Down Under" is. Well, maybe it's "Up Top" or just north of the equator - where, of all things, it's summer during the summertime and winter during the wintertime, and the toilets swirl the wrong way when flushed!

The Versys is a great bike; hope you enjoy it for a long while. But, I do wonder how do you keep it from falling off the earth when you're upside down!!??

3 Adelaide boys with the same color Versys on a US web site....go fiquire, i got mine new just over 12 months ago from SA motorcycles must have been on the showroom floor for a while $10,500 on road complete with racks and hard luggage, MRA screen and Ventura rack, my bike all racked out

I have added speedy anti-vibration mount which is great, raises and brings the bars back a bit a really reduces the vibes and also both the passenger and rider lowering pegs, both these item are great value, i go off road as well mainly 4wd track or gravel roads in the hills, got scorpion syc tires they are great, apart from that the bikes stock, this bike does everything so well.

Welcome aboard. You made a great choice in bikes.

There are not many of these around, most bikers do not know what they are.

I have one new mate in Sydney (met Begbiie on this forum) with one, we both have 2011 build black V's.

Cheers Gents.
Like you mentioned VOz, people don't know what this bike is, getting all sorts of apprehensive endearing stares from folks not sure what the V is all about... even when trying to categorise, same diff. I tend to say, well it has the same engine as a 650 ninja, the height of an adventurer and the comfort of a tourer... win win ^^
