The 09 is better looking. Bias opinion.
Actually I believe they added some rubber isolators on the motor mounts to reduce some of the vibration. They also added better foot pegs. Other than that I think it has been all cosmetic changes.

Also these are for the 2010

1. Oxygen sensor
2. LED rear lamp
3. Supposedly more comfortable rear passenger seat

I do feel less vibrations on the 2010/11/12 models.

When I was looking at buying my V I went back and forth between an 09 and 11, both with zero miles. In the end I went with the 11 because it was $199 more than the 09. Figured I couldn't pass up spending $200 on a newer bike. Personally I prefer the 2011's front-end styling as well.
